Oh no, it seems that Yuki has gone back in time to pilfer herself a new “wand”!! What prepostrous evil has this extra-terrestrial done!?

And when I said “gone back in time”, try to guess which anime the bazooka came from (there is no prize though >.<). It’s quite an old series, people of my age did not get to watch it back then. Old Long-time mecha fans might find it familiar.

Anyway, sorry for the blur images, my camera sucks. Anyone know a good camera model for beginner photographers? Since I seriously need a new camera. I’ll tell you why.

Some shots were taken like a gazillion times due to the size of the cam being small, it made it difficult for me to hold it steadily. Plus, it has no “anti-shake” or whatever-it-is-called function. So folks, do not get yourself a Nikon Coolpix 3700 the next time you go shopping.

I would’ve taken more shots if not for the camera getting me frustrated with all the blurriness. But fret not, a bonus image is served to compensate for the crappy quality. ^^;

And about the question I posed earlier, it’s time I reveal the answer. This tin-can’s been with me since about 7/8 years old. It is a miracle that I didn’t wreck it into smithereens back then lol.

Ok folks, let’s have an overview of YnS so far after like erm, after 5 months? Lolwut. Why do this after 5 months? Well, this is a new blog and let’s just say I want to get to know how to build up YnS’s foundation before doing anything big and drastic. ^^;

Statistics

For starters, let us look at how my blog is doing, statistic-wise. I’m getting about a 100 plus hits per day with the exception of the June holidays where I had completely no life and found the time to post regularly to boost hits till about 200 plus visitors daily. It’s still as crappy as ever compared to the other established bloggers.

Content

So far, I have done some anime reviews but that was a mere coverage of 4 series. Now, I blame this year’s hectic school schedule. But I think the same goes for Darkmirage who’s kind of tied down to schoolwork and with his major papers coming up (I think). Although his posts have rather become weekly posts, his large base of readers (me included) adds up to let him earn huge, nice numbers on his counter, which I hope it’ll happen to mine soon. Wait, why am I talking about DM when this is my blog review. >.<

Back to the subject, the number of figure reviews I have done is actually a very nice and round 0! Now now, I do actually have some figures lying around my room but the only decent one that deserves a review is most probably my Clare figure. It’s just that I’m a lazy person. However, I’ve pre-ordered some figures already and they should be coming in at around September. So, do expect some stuff.

And in terms of music, you guys are not that fond of Visual Kei, eh? Except for Squee, that is.

Readership

From March till now, I can see quite clearly who my regular visitors are from the frequent comments that they make. And the others who, if I presume would be clueless people or first time visitors who clicked my link from either members of Team Blue or at Danny’s site. These 2 sources mainly drive traffic to my blog. So, a big thanks goes to them as well as anyone else who has linked me up (you know who you are). New readers might find it hard to get hooked onto what I blog since I post irregularly though I feel that by sharing with other blogs, the circulation of readers between bloggers should be there and that might not cause any problems to the amount of readers YnS has.

Blog tech

I really can’t do much about adding cool plug-ins or tweaking the blog’s default layouts that WordPress offers due to having insufficient funds. Having my own domain would be great, but I’m not really in a rush for one. Or rather, I’m not really able to find one. Guh. Animeblogger may seem to be a good choice but with Maestro busy with some issues, it would take like forever to get registered into AB just to beg readers for donations. So yeah, plain layout for you guys till then.

And finally, hence/therefore/whatever, in a nutshell, it seems I still alot of things that I need to do and I still have a long way to go lol.

Summary

Losing the trust of his own army, the Black Knights, due to his secret identity being exposed by Prince Schniezel, Lelouch finds himself to be checked. With this, Lelouch then finds that there’s no more reason for him to live any longer and gave the last act to the execution squad before getting rescued unexpecedly by Rollo. After some yaoi scenes, Rollo finally dies from overuse of his Geass but Lelouch doesn’t seem to be over the moon about avenging Shirley’s death.

And now, the remorseful traitor gets betrayed and confronts Daddy to bring him down, once and for all.

I lol’ed.

Thoughts

I feel that Lelouch is really now very much a loser, though he’s gonna kick some ass and stir more WTF moments since Sunrise always loves to do that from the beginning of CG. And remember Anya who had this “headache” when facing C.C. and Lelouch and that she said her diary entries don’t tele with her memories, I have a gut feeling that it may be somehow related to Geass and it’s gonna help Lelouch or affect him in other ways. As for Suzaku and his new gay laughter, the relationship between Lelouch and him is quite in shambles, harbouring distrust for each other. Or will the playful minds of Sunrise cause friendship to previal? We’ll see.

So, is it going to continue as I predicted, or will there be an even more unexpected twists to turn things around? There’ll be 22 episodes for this season by the way, R2′s ending soon.

Following the yet-to-be-released Blade & Soul MMORPG, I’ve been looking at Hyung Tae Kim’s artworks and my, they’re sure amazing.

Let’s just hope I can get inspired to draw some yuri after this. ^^;

People familiar with PS2′s Magna Carta might notice the similar character designs. Well, the artist behind this is none other than Hyung Tae Kim, who draws feminine males. Now, that is why I’m going to play a female for B&S. Anyway, the game’s been on developement for the past 2 years and closed beta’s starting next year. From the looks of the trailer, there are only 2 races (but Q&A says there are 4 races and 8 classes), Jin (sword spewing machine) and Gon (punch and kick machine). Though having only such limited races, the aesthetics are certainly comparable to Granado Espada.

Because of the upcoming common test week, watching anime and thinking of cosplay related stuff and school activities, I can hardly find time to update YnS. My oh my, Lady has gotten sexier than before!

For those who do not follow the Devil May Cry (DMC) series, it is an uber hack and slash series developed by Capcom that follows Dante (DMC1-3) and Nero (DMC4). I’ve recently gotten my hands with the PC version for DMC4 and I can fairly say that it’s been addictive with the wicked combos and Nero’s constant sarcasm. ^^
