In this episode, Lelouch manages to turn the tables once again. Like duh, main characters don’t die in a story, otherwise, it’d sucked. He also found out how Rollo’s Geass works. What his Geass does is stop a person’s sense of time, kinda like hypnosis, so he can’t actually control physical motions like stopping a ball in midair. Just human movements. So that was what happened in Babel tower, eh? Teleportation is all crap.
With Lelouch’s way of playing with words and “confusing” Rollo, he manages to tap on his softer side as a sibling and lied his way out. There’s no way that Lulu meant what he said. Afterall, his the king and Rollo’s his pawn. For the rest of the time, Lelouch tries to think of a way to handle Rollo as well as saving his comrades from their upcoming execution, while still pretending to be Lelouch Lamperouge. Meanwhile, back at the United States of Japan (lol), Xingke confronts the eunuch and kills him for the condition that he would allow the Black Rebellion to do what they want and that he could use them as an excuse for the eunuch’s death.
The next day, for what seemed to be the death of Zero’s comrades turned out to be the death of the Britannian’s instead. Zero appears coming in to the ambessy on a Knightmare and standing outside the cockpit. For goodness sake, can’t the army and police do anything but stare at him as he comes!? =/ Britannia needs a sniper team or something. It seems that Viletta still holds some feelings towards Ohgi. Awww.
After saying hi to Guilford, Lulu goes on to proceed with the duel. Only one weapon could be used and Lelouch chose a shield used to supress mobs. Hmm, what could be his plan? Well, Lelouch didn’t intend to fight from the start at all. It’s actually the same trick used during the Black Rebellion where the buildings would topple in case of an emergency, like earthquakes and such. Lulu once again, Geass-ed a soldier to do his dirty work for him and activate a part of the building to slope and cuase the army to cling to the floor like lizards. Guess you can still use old tricks on old dogs. Lousy Britannians. Kallen also leads a team of Knightmare frames to save Toudo and the rest amidst the battle of guns and smoke. Viletta also give a sigh of relief for Ohgi. Awww. I need a girlfriend like her. D:
Or should I get C.C.?
Now, this is where the show gets all mushy. Lelouch already had this all planned out (but when will his plan actually fail? I’d like to see that soon). Funny that Darlton’s son really has the urge to kill Zero but has got himself Geassed by Lulu. And about Britannia having snipers, they did actually have one – Darlton’s son. ^^; When Rollo was playing cat and dog with Lulu, Darlton’s son fired a shot that was headed directly for Rollo and since he can’t stop physics, he was deadmeat but, Lulu intercepts the shot and saved Rollo’s ass.
As I’ve said earlier Lelouch already had this all planned out and he most probably did this so he could chit chat with Rollo and toy with his feelings to gain his trust. What a kind brother, eh? Not, Rollo’s just gonna be a pawn in his chess set. With Rollo on his side, Lelouch is now able to sort of “control” Viletta’s thinking that he hasn’t regain his memories and is able to cripple them from within. And ultimately, throw away Rollo! Muahahahaha…
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. Lulu damn cool.
However, at the end, after the exciting battle, Suzaku appears at Ashford Academy (oh no). But fret not, the next episode seems to have more fun, peace, joy and laughter.
P.S. I managed to pre-order my 1/8 scale of Hatsune Miku at La Tendo recently. Was glad that it’s still availabe when I got it. ^^
