Is it a bird, a plane, or is it Hardo Gay? No, it’s Suzume-chan! (雀) YnS’ mascot!!
Wheeee! Make some noise! *noise*
First and foremost, why create a blog mascot, you say? Well, I saw a few other bloggers like Gordon and Danny with their own blog mascots and thought it would be cool if I had one as well. ^^; So, I decided to whip out a pencil and paper and started drawing.
I has reduced her head size reduced significantly from the original drawing, and made her boobs 100% symmetrical! XD
Most of my influences for the mascot came from Yuki and Hirano Aya (as you can see from Suzume’s hair)and since my drawing somewhat sucks with proportions, alot of adjustments with her lineart were heavily edited in Photoshop. Malzias has helped me quite alot with the Photoshopping part, so thanks, dude. ^^
Work in progress.
You could say Suzume’s the cheery and “loud” type, like a sparrow. Actually 雀 is actually “sparrow” in Japanese if you didn’t know. Okay, enough about me talking, you do want to hear more from Suzume-chan, don’t you? Suzume, ~
Hello everyone! はじめまして！The name’s Suzume, you can call me Suzu if you wish to! People say I look like Hirano Aya and Yuki, but more of the former. Anyway, from this day onwards, I’ll be at YnS promoting Yumeno’s blog. (＾∇＾) Oh, and speaking about promoting YnS, Yumeno has told me to pass on this message to all of his readers: “Thanks for visiting YnS so far and making it possible for the blog to reach a 5,000 hit-mark so far! Do continue to support YnS!” Haha, that’s so typical of him to say such things. Okay, I guess it’s ’bout time I let Yumeno speak some more. I shall see all of you again, soon!~ じゃあまた! (^ _ ^)/~~
As Suzume said, a word of thanks to the visitors and readers of YnS from the beginning till now (as well as the people who gave their opinions during the Suzume-in-the-making stage). Lastly I do hope you would like Suzume and continue to visit YnS! ^^
